My whole life I struggled to find jewellery in my size, the only jewellery that came close to fitting was men's. Otherwise, I would have to get jewellery customized which cost more, and sometimes double the original price.

 In September 2022 I suffered from a nervous breakdown, I had been struggling with severe anxiety and depression. My doctor suggested I pass my time and keep my mind busy. I went on Tiktok and was watching the calm pearl opening lives. In early 2023 I started to purchase pearls, with them I would get custom jewellery made. During the live when they would ask for me to comment my size for rings or bracelets, I would feel embarrassed to share my measurements.

I was sick of feeling this way, so I decided enough was enough and began to make jewellery for myself with crystals and pearls. I learnt how to wire and wrap jewellery and I would do Tiktok lives teaching others.

Towards the end of 2023 my mental health went downhill, and I would find myself getting overwhelmed very easily. During this stage in my life, I decided I wanted to start selling jewellery. I was truly in disbelief at the fact that in order for me to have pretty and affordable jewellery I would have to make it myself. I considered all the other plus-sized women who were having the same problem and chose to cater to larger jewellery sizes. It was extremely difficult to find wholesalers who would actually make larger sizes. In early 2024 I finally found a couple wholesalers who agreed to make larger jewellery.

So EPIK by Eng was born.

We are here to even the playing field, to take the stigma out of plus size jewellery and to bring affordable size inclusive jewellery to you! We are in the same boat and the struggle is over, lets shine together.
